Rasmus Krigström
Born 1986 in Stockholm, Sweden. Sang in choir from age 5, also played drums and piano very early. Attended Adolf Fredriks School of Music and the Stockholm Music Gymnasium. Attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, drumming performance program. He did military service as a drummer in the Swedish Royal Army Drum Corps.
Autumn of 2006, he started singing lead in the barbershop quartet Ringmasters. In 2012 Ringmasters became International Quartet Champions.
Rasmus writes arrangements and composes music for groups all over the world, and premiered a major piece for symphony orchestra and two choirs — under his own direction — in 2025 at the Open To The World Festival by ISM Bel Canto Choir Vilnius.
He is, apart from directing Zero8, also the current director of A Scalpella and Northern Stars, co-director of Pearls of the Sound from Helsingborg, and performs around fifty shows per year with Ringmasters.
